Our History
Since our first 4-bed HMO project in 2018, Renoject has grown into a powerhouse in property sourcing and development. Formally established in 2022, we rapidly scaled from single projects to delivering 20+ developments in 2023, sourcing over 100 deals across social housing, buy-to-lets and HMOs.
With a new office and an in-house team, we’re set to source 180+ projects and convert 70 HMOs in 2025, targeting a £2.5 million turnover.
Our commitment to delivering high-yield investment opportunities continues to drive our success in the property sector.
Our Journey

2020
In 2020, Joe took his first steps into property investment while working offshore as an electrician. He purchased a buy-to-let for £55,000, spending £10,000 on refurbishments, bringing the GDV to £95,000. His second property, a bungalow, was bought for £90,000 with a £15,000 refurb, increasing its value to £145,000. Meanwhile, Ryan was working full-time as a scaffolder, laying the groundwork for what would become a powerhouse in property development.

2022
By 2022, Joe and Ryan joined forces with Joe Maphosa, forming JJ Properties and purchasing their first HMO. This four-bed, all en-suite property was bought for £60,000, renovated for £30,000, and sold for £120,000, all completed with their own hands. Shortly after, Joe Maphosa decided to pursue his boxing career full-time, and Joe and Ryan moved forward with a new vision, leading to the creation of Renoject.

2022 Highlight
The momentum continued with the launch of Renoject, and their first deal in Norton saw a £62,000 purchase, a £25,000 refurb, and a refinance at £120,000, generating a rental income of £750 PCM. As demand grew, they sourced their first deal for a client.

2022 Highlight
Frustrated with unreliable builders, they took matters into their own hands, launching Renoject Construction to ensure quality and efficiency. Later that year, they took a major step forward by purchasing their first office in the Victoria Building, solidifying their presence in the industry.

2024
By 2024, Renoject had fully established itself in the industry. A major partnership with another sourcing company led to over 200+ deals sourced, while Renoject Construction took on 30+ active projects at once. One of the standout deals of the year was Alder Grove, bought for £39,999, with a £30,000 refurb, bringing its GDV to £140,000. By the end of the year, they had completed 75+ HMO conversions, contributing to a staggering £40M+ GDV turnover. To further drive property sales, Nathan joined the team as a Sales Consultant, strengthening Renoject’s ability to scale even further.

2025
In 2025, Renoject has undergone a full restructure, bringing all operations in-house, including sourcing, construction, sales, and marketing. Two major deals are in the pipeline: a 30-bed apartment development worth over £4M (subject to planning) and an 11-bed HMO conversion. With the expanded team and a solid foundation in place, the company is targeting 180+ completed projects, 70+ HMO conversions, and a projected turnover of £2.5M, marking a new era of growth and success.
